Fitting requirements:
Clients natural hair should be shoulder length or longer, feathered cut in order to blend properly with the extensions. Straight or slight wavy hair type can blend.
Adding length
Thin hair: 50-100 strands depending on current length and hair cut
Medium hair: 100-150 strands depending on current length and hair cut
Thick hair, ethnic hair or very short hair: 200-300 strands
Longer you go, more hair extensions you would need
Life Cycle:
12-24 months for black, dark brown hair
6-12 Months for dark to medium brown hair
2-4 months for blonde hair
Our Remy hair will last many months more if well cared for. The above timings are given as a guide based on tests, effects of colouring and feedback collated from our clients. You can re-apply the extensions within these given times. Please read our Hair Care page to care for your extensions in the best possible way.
I tip extensions can be rebonded every 4-6 weeks.
Blonde hair extensions are usually one -two use, treat blondes with olaplex/chromaplex and use the correct shampoo + treatment every 3-4 weeks
Fitting and care notices:
cutting the bonds will cause hair to shed
For extra strong fitting, double ring method can be used. However this will take much longer to remove
Bonds must be re-bonded each fitting with extra glue
Avoid all products such as oils, sprays, gel applied directly to bonds
Avoid coloring, bleaching, perming. Remove all extensions and glue residue before doing any chemical processing
Salt, chlorine waters and all high PH substances will dry and damage hair extensions. Without proper treatment afterwards, the extensions can matt.
All fitted extensions are professional use. Fitting should be done at an qualified, certified and experienced stylist.
